Sunday Sequels (28)

Sunday sequels is my own meme. Every Sunday, I'll post covers, news, or other stuff about sequels in a popular series. This week I'm going to talk about Defiance (Strange Angels #4) by Lili St.Crow.

Defiance (Strange Angels, #4)Defiance by  Lili St. Crow
April 19, 2011
The heart-stopping fourth novel in New York Times bestselling author Lili St. Crow's Strange Angels series.

Now that sixteen-year-old Dru's worst fears have come true and Sergej has kidnapped her best friend Graves, she'll have to go on a suicidal rescue mission to bring him back in one piece.
That is, if she can put all of Christophe's training to good use, defeat her mother's traitor, Anna, once and for all, and manage to survive another day . . .

But then their journey erupts in a fiery conflagration, and with both of their lives and the fate of the kingdom at stake, she and Robert must determine whether they have the strength, and the will, to complete their mission. And face the darker side of exile.

I have only read the first book in this series, Strange Angels. I didn't love it, but I'm glad that I read it. Out of all the Strange Angels covers, this one has to be my favorite. I didn't really care for the Jealousy cover, but this one is quite striking.

I love this cover so much more than the Strange Angels's striking. I can't believe I've yet to start this series. :)
