Time to Draw a Line

While doing my daily blogosphere browsing, I stumbled across something that literally had my jaw hanging open. Like many other bloggers, I am now appealing to you (my faithful followers) for help.

Amazon.com is currently selling a book called The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure. If that title doesn't raise a huge red flag in your mind, I don't know what will. It also states on the cover that it is a "A Child-Lover's Code of Conduct."

It is an ebook and available to the public. While I know many people have tried contacting Amazon in protest, the book is still for sale. As far as I know, Amazon has sent out a blanket response to everyone that has spoken out against this.

I don't want to offend anyone with the book's disturbing description, so I'll provide you with a link to the synopsis. Click HERE if you would like to read it.

Apparently, I'm not the only one who is outraged by the selling of this book. HERE are some of the comments from others. Like many others, I won't be shopping on Amazon until this book has been removed.

I cannot explain how disgusted I am by this. For the safety of the children in the world, please take a stand against this horrifying book. It's time to speak up.

It is awful that any would do that to children, let alone publishing a how-to guide! This is outrageous!!

This is just so beyond wrong. There are no words. I get that Amazon wants to be impartial to all sellers or whatever, but this is just crossing a line.
And more than Amazon, who would *write* something like this?!
It's just awful...

I'm including this in a lit news roundup that I am posting tomorrow, with a link to your blog - hopefully, the word will spread about this and others will join you in an Amazon boycott!

But I see that both links you've shared have been taken down. I hope that's a good sign?
